The fear hidden behind his eyes was hardly something he’d worry about; it was a mandatory emotion but able to be blocked out with the past of his history. He inhaled a breath, inaudibly, and side glanced at her, his head twitching to the side before he slowly turned on his heel to face her. 

“Something tells me it will be your fingertips…” The mutter below his breath leaves his lips with an exhale of breath from him. “I’ll make sure to keep an eye open and my alchemy with me at all times. History could repeat itself and you could be nothing but air again..”
