Fire is destruction itself. Without an alchemist's hand, it kills and tears down villages, cities and towns. Add it to a man and he becomes the wielder of it. Man itself is already dangerous enough, a few with flames at the beck and call is more threatening. Its meant to be hidden and pushed away. No one should see the secrets. I see that now.

Send (=゚ω゚)ノ for my character to react to yours putting a collar on their neck
♟‘Fullmetal, what the hell is the meaning of this?!’ His hands grasped the collar, tugging at it but ending up almost suffocating from pulling too hard. 'As your superior officer, I demand you take this thing off of me!’ Well. He was screwed.
The show of force from Mustang isn’t enough to push the smug expression off of the boy’s face. He isn’t quite sure what’s driving him right now: the rush that comes with breaking a few rules, or an upswing of masochism. It’s not like he can ask Al to sate that need, but the Colonel… that’s another story.
“Ha! Make me, old man. Or don’t you have the balls?”
♟The colonel didn’t want to hurt the kid. Well, he did. But there was only so much he was allowed to do. Killing fellow officers of the military wasn’t, unfortunately, one of the few things. However, being in his office alone, with a child acting even more like a child; he could possibly show him whose boss without killing him. His fingers gripped at his shirt more before he, without thought for the force, pushed Edward from his chair, almost attempting to get him on his own knees. He then stood aside and watched the kid, arm crossed over his chest and eyes narrowed.
"I am your superior officer! You will treat me with respect. I wont tell you again, Fullmetal.“
